Meredith Gardner graduated with her bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She worked as a full-time reporter at the Grand Island Independent before deciding to become a stay-at-home mother. She now works as a freelance writer and lives in Omaha with her husband, two daughters and obnoxious cat.
