1964 ... The Tribute wraps up the La Vista 50th Anniversary Concert Series

At 50, the city of La Vista may be decidedly middle-aged, but people of all generations still clamor for the Beatles.

1964 … The Tribute, the nationally renowned Beatles tribute band, will headline the season-ending slot of the La Vista 50th Anniversary Concert Series. The free performance will open with The Rockerfellers.

The event is scheduled for Fri., Aug. 20, on the PayPal Campus.

The evening will conclude with a fireworks show courtesy of Bellino Enterprises and Night Visions Fireworks.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and The Rockerfellers will take the stage an hour later. Concertgoers should bring their own lawn chairs and refreshments. Concessions will be available for purchase from a handful of vendors.

To access the event, take Giles Road to Eastport Parkway and turn north. Free parking will be available in the Securities America lot, in a vacant lot next door to Securities, and along Eastport Parkway on both sides.

If someone happens to slide into the parking spot you had been eyeing, take a tip from the Fab Four and just “Let it Be.”
